Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (accounting major), a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, all from The University of Arizona.

His career began as a Certified Public Accountant in the Phoenix office of Ernst & Young.  After earning the experience requirement for his CPA certificate, Dan returned to graduate school to earn his JD and MBA degrees simultaneously.  Dan won two awards for his writing while in law school, and he was named Business Editor of the Arizona Law Review.  After graduate school, Dan worked as a business transactions and real estate attorney in a large Tucson law firm.  He eventually moved to Phoenix and opened a law and finance practice in 1997.

Building on his own entrepreneurial ambitions, Dan started retail business, known as Arizona Wildwear.  This was a multi-location, brick & mortar, as well as internet based retailer of officially licensed NCAA collegiate clothing and gift items.  Dan successfully grew this business over the course of ten years, and sold it in 2008.

One of Dan’s passions is helping non-profit charitable organizations.  Dan has served on many non-profit Boards and Finance Committees.  He has served as General Counsel to Arizona Baseball Charities since 2000, and he was recently re-elected to his second three-year term on the Board of The Episcopal Diocese of Arizona.  Dan is highly skilled in non-profit finance, governance, fundraising, and endowment management.

Dan’s personal experience as a successful small business entrepreneur, his many years of professional experience as a lawyer and accountant, and his three University degrees, enables Dan to provide his clients top quality service with a unique problem solving approach.  Dan’s blend of practical entrepreneurial experience, as well as legal, financial and strategic training, is ideally suited to yield effective, creative, and multi-disciplinary solutions to anything from routine business and real estate matters to the most complex business problems.
